AN IMPRESSIONS OF  YOUNG DIPLOMACY PROFESSIONALS FORUM 2012

On September 14 -152012, 30 young, talented and motivated diplomats, journalists, politicians, state officials in-the-making gathered in Riga, the EU House (map) for the second Rīga Conference Young Diplomacy Professionals Forum.

The Young Diplomacy Professionals forum took place during the Riga Conference and is a unique opportunity for young professionals and students to meet the experts of the Riga Conference for an open debate at the EU House. Young students challenged the speakers through on-line discussion platforms and face-to-face sessions on the most important questions on the global political agenda becoming an integral part of the Rīga Conference 2012 debates.

This year, Forum hosted participants from Lithuania and Estonia to bring a new edge to the discussions. Variety of opinions, effective collaboration and passionate debate are the key features of the Forum. With a mission to elaborate the Proposal Papers, leaders of tomorrow became fully engaged in what happened at the main Conference hall through live broadcast and on-line participation tools.
